Comics about magic girls have been gaining popularity for years, breaking the stereotypes associated with this medium. Although traditionally comic books were directed mainly at boys, the emergence of a series specified as “Sabrina, a teenage witch”, “W.I.T.C.H.” or “Zatanna” (DC University) proved that young girls with magical powers have a peculiar place in this world.
