CPK is simply a company of the State Treasury appointed to prepare and implement the Multiannual Programme of the Central Communication Port, which includes the construction of a fresh central airport for Poland and the coordination and implementation of accompanying investments, including a fresh network of railway lines, expressways, motorways and another transmission infrastructure. Ownership supervision is exercised by the Government Plenipotentiary for Central Communication Port.
As part of the CPK programme, the central airport, located between Warsaw and Łódź, is to be established, as well as the strategy of advanced velocity Railways. The fresh airport is initially intended to operate 34 million passengers per year and designed in specified a way that it can be flexibly expanded in the long term, in line with marketplace needs and forecasts. The estimated investment cost by 2032 is PLN 131.7 billion.
Limited CPK
At present, the government's inept approach to CPK is very limited in relation to the first assumptions. These restrictions have been introduced under the slogan of "realisation" and the planned railway lines have been severely reduced.
It is hard not to get the impression that politicians of the current ruling formations support the CPK only due to the upcoming presidential elections. It is worth mentioning that until late they had fought hard against this project. From their mouths were absurd accusations that the task served Russia.
However, the fresh location decision was repeatedly postponed due to a deficiency of documentation.
