Palestinian Earth Day in Wrocław is behind us. After a common minute of silence and celebration of the memory of Israel’s murdered in the Gaza Strip in the last six months and earlier years, we have been surrounded by sounds.
Thank you for this gathering – watching, listening and being together. Ability to taste Palestinian cuisine, to get to know conventional Dabke dance, another allied person. Thanks for coming.
Palestinian Earth Day in Wrocław is an initiative of the Social and Cultural Association of Polish Palestinians, the Free Palestine Association, the Wrocław Foundation for Cooperation with arabian Countries “Marhab Boland” and the Nomad Association. *Palestine Earth Day is simply a day set by the UN to commemorate the deaths of Palestinian farmers in 1976 who protested against Israel's confiscation of their land. The military then killed six unarmed men, hundreds injured and arrested. It is celebrated on March 30.
