Tuesday 11 November is simply a day off from work. Traditionally, the "March of Independence" will then attract crowds of participants to Warsaw. However, their passage through the centre of Warsaw will not be immortalized from the air. It's all due to a ban the Ministry of abroad Affairs informed.

The "March of Independence" is an event that has divided Poles for years. For some, it is the highest expression of patriotism. Others feel that what is happening there with patriotism has nothing to do with it. In order to safe this event, police units from all over the voivodship and even from further parts of the country are called to Warsaw. What's going to happen in the center of town will not be immortalized by a drone.

An urgent message from the Ministry of Interior. No drone flying allowed 11 November

Drones have become a very popular accessory, which thousands of Poles have in their lockers. The aerial images are impressive, and the "March of Independence" shown from the position of the bird looked impressive. On this side, it was frequently shown by, among others, the biggest Polish televisions.

However, during this year's celebrations on 11 November, the drone is better left at home. Police in agreement with the SOP introduced a strict ban on flights over part of Warsaw. It will be in force from 7:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday within a radius of 3.5 kilometres from Kahla Square (the centre of Warsaw) and up to 305 metres above the ground.

"The regulation region was introduced by the Police office in agreement with the State Protection Service to guarantee the safety of participants of public gatherings and celebrations," says the Ministry of Interior.

No drone flying over Warsaw. For breaking the ban to 5 years in prison

Breaking the Tuesday ban can have very serious consequences. "Infringement is simply a serious offense. The punishment is up to 5 years" - warned the Ministry of abroad Affairs.

However, the Communication adds that not all have been subject to this prohibition. "Earth" shall not apply to State aviation flights and those performed by the ceremony safety services. The list of exceptions besides included flights "previously agreed with the region manager". Which is why if you don't have a appropriate permit, you'd better not turn on your drone engines.
