Ordo Iuris: Work on the "talk of hate" bill at the finish line. Let's protest!

This is another case before the Polish justice system, and it concerns this Mr Adam.

The man is an experienced and valued software engineer, who until late developed his career with success in a Polish branch of 1 of the global IT companies. As in specified companies, the approach to LGBT demands represented by Mr Adam's employer was very positive.

For years, a man ignored LGBT pushiness in the workplace. However, the measurement changed when, last year, all employees of the Polish branch of the company received an email inviting them to the Warsaw Equality Parade, and in their business calendar, this event was marked with the position “required”.

Mr Adam reacted at the time by responding to a public email and culturally informed his employer that "inviting his employees to the Equality Parade is not in the business of the company", and the employees' views are their private business.

What happened next?

First Mr. Adam was blocked from his email account and then he was fired from his job. The message explicitly states that the reason for the termination of the agreement is that Mr Adam’s message about the LGBT movement, which “could have a negative impact on the well-being of LGBTQ employees” and that “the view of the company is in complete contradiction with the values of the Company in conducting business and besides adversely affects the atmosphere at work”.

He went to the Warsaw Labour Court prepared by lawyers from the Ordo Iuris Institute, in which they request that Mr Adam be reinstated.

But this is only 1 of those cases that in fresh years have passed through Polish courts. We can be certain that the real wave of censorship is just approaching our country. Work on the ideologically motivated act on penalising hatred speech due to sexual orientation or sex identity is gaining momentum.

Just before Christmas, the Government Legislative Center published an authoritative bill. It is likely that the final version of the task will scope the parliament later this month. In it, a third-year prison conviction for views contrary to the imagination of the planet imposed by the “blow” propagandaists.

The European Union is besides pushing to intensify the work of Polish politicians, which increasingly demands associate States to regulate these ideological issues according to LGBT lobbyists. In January, Europarlament voted to recognise hatred speech and hatred crimes as crimes under EU law and called on associate States to resume discussions on this subject. Moreover, specified crimes have been considered as dangerous as terrorism or human trafficking.

Do you imagine specified a reality? A planet where we can be considered as criminals as dangerous as terrorists to express views consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church?

Watching what is happening now, we cannot be deceived that it is only – as right as possible! – penalties for actual violence, physical attacks, slander or threats.

Mr. Adam lost his occupation for the cultural refusal imposed from above to attend the show of expected tolerance – the Parade of Equality. The pretext to release him was not the actual harm, but the specified threat that possibly individual would feel hurt by his deficiency of approval for the employer's actions!

A fewer months ago, president of the Pro-Right Foundation Mr Mariusz Dzierżawski was fined, even though he presented technological evidence to his claims (unfriendly LGBT environments). Janusz Komenda lost his occupation at IKEA for simply quoting Scripture!

This bill is not a whip against criminals. It is simply a whip against each of us – anyone who dares to object to imposing destructive ideology on Poles. And what we see present is just a foretaste of what awaits us if the “talk of hatred” law actually comes into force.

If we don't respond now, it'll only get worse.

Before the time comes for Mr President's actions, we will be able to influence parliamentarians. It is up to them to decide whether the bill that gags our lips will pass the way of acting in the Sejm. We want to act at this stage, so as not to leave LGBT lobbyists free to go.

Therefore, first of all, I would like to ask you to act in your own environment on this matter. We request to inform, alert about upcoming threats, make aware of what will actually consequence from the legal provisions on "talk of hatred". The dangerous demands of LGBT ideologies can fool many with a beautiful environment of tolerance and modernity. That is why the function of those who know what lies behind this facade is so important.

They must gagged Poles before the most serious actions are taken in the plenary: the introduction of the institutions of the partnerships, then the single-sex marriages, and the placing of a dot over the "i" will be granting them the right to adopt children. This is precisely what is at the end of the road to which we will enter, if we manage to introduce a law on "talk of hatred" in Poland.

We can't let that happen!
