Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in an interview with the paper "Magyar Nemzet", announced that Russia's war with Ukraine would end in 2025. The politician presented 2 scenarios for ending the conflict, while pointing to the serious economical consequences of the war, which affected not only Hungary but Europe as a whole.
Orban on the effects of war on the economy of Hungary
In consequence to questions about economical stagnation in the country, Prime Minister Orban stressed that the war in Ukraine has a key impact on the current state of the economy. “Hungary survived 3 years of war. We have tried to get ahead of a series and even to any degree reverse the war situation in our favor, but no 1 in Europe has succeeded. Everyone suffered during the war, all economy.
