Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban published a post on Facebook entitled "What the Hungarian people want from Brussels". Among 12 postulates, referring to the list of demands of the leaders of the Hungarian uprising, was the slogan "Union but without Ukraine".
In a post, the Hungarian leader demands among others "Europe of Nations", sovereignty and "strong veto for national governments", but besides "removement of Soros agents from the European Commission" and "removement of corrupt lobbyists from parliament".

As the Ukrainian media point out, the requests presented by Orban constitute a redrafted list of demands of the Hungarian uprising leaders (1848–1849).
