On the 82nd anniversary of "bloody Sunday" conference "Volyn without myths" in Warsaw

We would like to send you a peculiar invitation from the Association “Community and Memory” – organizers of the “Volyn for Powązki” initiative.
On 11 July, the next edition of the “Volyn without Myths” conference will be held in Warsaw, which aims to reconstruct the memory of victims of genocide in the Kresach. This event has a unique character – not only commemorates, but besides loudly demands fact and justice.

As the creators of the “Vołyń do Powązki” initiative, we do not slow down in our efforts to commemorate the victims of Ukrainian genocide. Friday, July 11th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Polish home at 64 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street in Warsaw, we invitation you to a conference on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of “bloody Sunday” in Volyn, which is the apogee of Ukrainian crimes in Poles in the Borders of the Second Republic.
During the event there will be: Paweł Lisicki, Jan Więszalski, Leszek Żebrowski, Wojciech Sumliński, Grzegorz Double, Fr Prof. Józef Marecki and another peculiar guests. The gathering will take the form of a debate with the premiere of the 3rd part of the iconic book "WOLLY WITHOUT MITS". The authors and organizers of the gathering are: Paweł Zdziarski, president of the Association “Community and Memory” and Dr. Michał Siekierka, Vice president of the Association for the Memory of Victims of Ukrainian Nationalists in Wrocław. As in erstwhile parts, besides in the 3rd installment the book consists of interviews-ariving with witnesses of genocide, prominent historians and well-known publicists.
The celebrations of the subsequent anniversary of the crime in Volyn and east Małopolska are silenced and pushed to the rank of celebrations of the 3rd category by state institutions. erstwhile again, we take matters into our own hands and join a number of social initiatives. Spending the evening together on 11 July, we will not only deal with myths about the genocide of 80 years ago, which unfortunately is inactive not missing, but above all we will pay tribute to the victims of these cruel crimes, which are inactive waiting for a worthy burial.
Admission to the event is free. After the debate, it will be possible to acquisition books and talk to authors. Welcome!
