American aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, the largest and most technologically advanced unit of this kind in the world, will fly to Palma Bay in Majorca. The halt, scheduled for October 3-8, is part of the 6th U.S. Fleet activities aimed at strengthening United States military presence in Europe.
