With concern for education and education of Polish youth, we express our serious concern about the current direction of European education policy.
In particular, the concerns of many thousands of parents and teachers are raised by:
– utilizing the school as a tool for spreading the ideology of inclusion and making social transformation,
– making dogma inclusion against the real well-being of students, preventing criticism and ignoring the consequences of missteps, especially towards disabled students,
– conducting a constructive policy, separated from nonsubjective reality and the real improvement needs of young people.
We are definitely protesting:
– utilizing minors to make utopian social models through systemic change of attitudes and beliefs
– reducing funds for peculiar education dedicated to students with deep disabilities,
– disseminating permissive sexual education,
– the ownership by educational institutions of parental educational competences and the subjection of state control to families,
– expanding the European education area at the expense of the identity of individual EU countries, their history, culture and national tradition.
An alarm signal for EU education ministers should be the decline in the real level of education of European school graduates in cognition and skills and the increasing distance between them and graduates from east Asian countries.
As conscious parents and teachers, we anticipate to abandon ideological utopias and return to proven, effective teaching methods and school organisation.
We call for the primary goal of the school to be taken care of the full intellectual and individual improvement of the young man.
