More than half of respondents (56.1%) are in favour of mandatory military training for all adult men, against 26.2% and 17.7% have no opinion. This means that the concept enjoys public support – only 1 in 4 respondents express their opposition. In this context, the government could recognise that social consent to specified a solution is comparatively high, which is in line with the communicative of an article suggesting that "government can be calm". But does this sense of safety have a real basis?
