The Social Insurance Institution prepares for the payment of the ‘Thirteen’ , an additional yearly cash benefit . The first deadline is April 1. The funds for pension recipients will be transferred to the post office on 27 March by that date and will be transferred to the bank on 31 March.
– Once again, ZUS pays the pensioners and pensioners additional gratuities. In April, they will receive a thirteenth pension with a primary benefit. Recipients whose pension payment date is 1.6.10.15. or 20th day of the period will receive a ‘thirteen’ even before Easter. – informs Katarzyna Krupicka, regional press spokesperson of ZUS Podlaskie Voivodeship.
An additional yearly cash benefit is due to the lowest pension that this year amounts to. PLN 1878.91 gross. You don't gotta apply for it.
Who will receive the “Thirteen”?
13th pension is entitled to persons who at 31 March this year have the right to pay 1 of the long-term benefits. These include pensions (including bridge pensions, periodic capital pensions and partial pensions), incapacity for work (including war and military invalidity pensions and accident pensions), training pensions, social pensions, household pensions (including household pensions after war or military invalidity and household accident pensions), parental supplementary benefits, cash benefits for civilian blind victims of war, teacher compensation benefits, and early retirement benefits.
Payments first benefit
Thirteen pensions will be transferred with the basic benefit, within the time of its payment. The first ‘Thirteen’ payments will be made on 1 April. In the full country, 889 1000 eligible, for a full amount of PLN 1.67 billion gross. In the Podlaskie Voivodeship on that day, additional funds will go to over 7 1000 people for the full amount of PLN 13,414 million gross.
– The rule is that payments are made in specified a way that the money reaches our customers by the deadline. If the period for payment of the benefit falls on a day off, the funds shall be transferred in advance, so that at the latest on the last working day, just before the payment date, they go to the pensioner or pensioner. This applies to bothpersons receiving the benefit on account and those receiving it by post – informs the spokesperson.
Persons who collect benefits on 6 and 20 April will receive them in advance, no later than 4 April and 18 April. The ‘Third’ will besides be entitled to benefits and pre-retirement benefits before the deadline. Extra money should go to them on May 1. As this is simply a day off, the ‘thirteenth pension’ will scope the recipients by 30 April at the latest.
Is there only 1 ‘thirteen’?
In the case of a household pension, which is collected by respective eligible persons, for example a widow and an orphan child, 1 cash benefit which is divided into equal proportions among all eligible persons shall be entitled.

No deductions or executions shall be made of the amount of the benefit and shall not be contingent on income.
