The Ministry of Interior and Administration has been working on the civilian Protection and civilian Defence Act for months. This process is slow coming to an end due to the fact that **the task is due to go to the Sejm in September**. Until the last moment, however, there is simply a dispute between the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the Ministry of National Defence.** Its axis is the money that MON co-finances the civilian protection and civilian protection system. **The mark is 0.15% of GDP, or over PLN 5 billion per year.** MON wants this money - under the civilian Protection Act - to be utilized for defensive tasks. However, the Ministry of Defence does not agree with specified an approach, which, in consequence to the observations of the Ministry of Defence, explicitly states that "*** there is no uncertainty that the resources of 0.15% of GDP, transferred by the Ministry of National Defence, must be spent on all civilian protection and civilian protection tasks, not just on defence tasks"**. As a result, proposals for changes expected by the MON "cannot be taken into account in any way".
