In February 2022 and in the following months, the Russian plan to change the Ukrainian authorities and subject this country to the example of Belarus was laid in ruins. After the fiasco of attacks on Kiev and Kharkiv, the Russians withdrew to the north from Ukraine's territory on their own territory. In return, they concentrated on war activities in east and confederate Ukraine.
