On 6 September the Operations Command directed the chopper to a region where an unidentified object coming from Belarus could have breached Polish airspace. Checks are ongoing and the nature of the object remains unchanged. For Poland this means another test of the state's vigilance towards the direction from which the force on our safety regularly flows.

The Operations Command of Types of Armed Forces informed on Sunday, 6 September of a suspected breach of the airspace of the Republic of Poland. The object was to arrive from the direction of Belarus. The verification is conducted by the Air Operations Center, operating in the Air Component Command structure.
A chopper was diverted to the area of the alleged incident. At this stage, the military did not tell what the object was, precisely where the trace was observed or whether the border had been crossed.
