The People's Bank of China (chin. 中国人民银行) and the State Administration of Exchange of abroad Currency (chin. 国家外汇管理局) provided information on the state of Chinese abroad exchange reserves and gold. At the end of July 2024, China held US$3.256 trillion abroad exchange reserves (an increase of US$34 billion, or 1.06% compared to the end of June). This is the seventh period in a row where the abroad exchange reserves are over US$3.2 trillion. In the case of gold reserves, July was the 3rd period in a row erstwhile no change in the holding state was recorded. China now has 72.8 million ounces of gold reserves.

As of last year, investigation on technology, method solutions and the usage of 6G networks has been underway in China. Ministry of manufacture and Information Technology (chin. 工业和信息化部) announced the acceleration of investigation and improvement of this technology. By the end of 2025, all standards are to be developed and harmonised and by 2030 the 6G network is to be ready for commercial use.

Chinese citizens may get 1 of the six types of passports of the PRC:
- 外交护照 (diplomatic) – issued by the Ministry of abroad Affairs to the highest officials of the party, government and army, the leaders of parliament, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the heads of the organization (other than the PSC), ambassadors, consuls and accompanying spouses and minors, as well as diplomatic couriers.
- 公务护照 (official) – issued to members of staff of diplomatic representations and the United Nations Organisation and its specialised agencies, as well as accompanying spouses and minors.
- 公务普通护照 (for authoritative purposes) – issued to civilian servants, government administration of all levels to the level of deputy powiats or municipalities, and to staff of state enterprises and public institutions who travel abroad for business purposes.
- 普通护照 (common passport) – issued to all citizens of the People's Republic of China with a valid identity card and travelling abroad for various reasons, including unofficial or tourist ones.
- 中华人民共和国香港特别行政区 (passport of the Hong Kong peculiar Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China) – issued to all residents of this region.
- 中华人民共和国澳门特别行政区 (passport of the Macao peculiar Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China) – issued to all residents of this region.
Passports issued to adults are valid for 10 years. These issued to children under 16 are 5 years old. Passports issued shall be kept by the owners of these documents. Chinese citizens without visas can travel to 157 countries. This does not apply to Europe (Shengen Zone).

The latest Academic Ranking of planet Universities (ARWU) has just appeared, besides known as Shanghai University Ranking. This ranking, first published in 2003, is an yearly ranking of universities worldwide based on their technological and investigation achievements and nonsubjective 3rd organization data. The Shanghai University Ranking list is widely respected by technological communities, has an established position, alongside the remaining 3 global rankings, namely:
- Times Higher Education,
- QS planet University Ranking and
- CWTS Leiden Ranking.
Academic Ranking of planet Universities is recognized as a precursor to the global rankings of universities and considered the most reliable. This year, data from over 2,500 academic institutions were analysed, and a list of the top 1,000 in the planet was published.
The top 10 of the world's top universities this year included 8 American universities (invariably, for years, the first 3 were Harvard, Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and 2 British (Cambridge and Oxford – 4th and sixth respectively).
Chinese universities this year powerfully marked their presence on the ARWU list. Among the first 1000 universities in the world, 225 are Chinese universities. American colleges in the first 1000 best in the planet were 183. But it is the universities of the United States that dominate the Top 50, 100 and 500 Shanghai University Ranking.
The best Chinese universities are:
- TsingHua (chin. 清华大学) in 22nd place,
- Beijing University (chin. 北京大学) in 24th place,
- JiaTong University (chin. 嘉通大学) ranked 38th.
The highest scaled Polish universities are Jagiellonian and Warsaw, located in precisely undetermined places between 401 and 500. In the first 1000 Shanghai University Ranking totaled 8 Polish universities.

The latest trend of Chinese tourism – trips to atomic power plants.
The Chinese National atomic Energy corp (CNNPC, chin. 中国核能电力股份有限公司), the country's largest atomic power generator, launched an online strategy where 1 of the 9 designated atomic power plants in China can be booked. According to the Chinese National atomic Energy Corporation, the interest in visiting the atomic power plant can download from the network a brochure with basic information, including tour maps for each of the 9 facilities. CNNPC, in announcing specified a tourist programme, hopes that, in addition to stimulating local tourism, this initiative will aid rise awareness of the functioning of modern atomic energy among Chinese citizens, thereby expanding assurance in the atomic sector in society.
China is presently building 25 atomic reactors out of all the 59 presently constructed worldwide. The second place in this category is India, where 7 atomic reactors are built.
