Under the NATO atomic Sharing programme, which was born in 1958, 5 European states inactive have warehouses in their territory with about 20 B61 atomic bombs of regulated power: 0.3; 1.5; 10 or 50 kiloton, depending on the setting of the bomb trigger before launch. All warehouses are located at the airports: Kleine Brogel in Belgium, Volkel in the Netherlands, Büchel in Germany, İncirlik in Turkey and a full of about 20 in 2 Italian bases, Aviano and Ghedi. These bases in Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey station F-16 aircraft adapted to their transfer, and in Germany and Italy – Tornado IDS. There was besides Greece on the program earlier, but it withdrew with the end of the Cold War.
