The first information indicated that the debate before the 2nd circular of the presidential election would take place on Wednesday and will be organised by TVP, TVN24 and Polsat. PiS wanted to grow the number of leaders and demanded that tv Republic and Poland24 participate in the event.
Discussions on the debate began on Monday and continued until Tuesday morning. Each organization made somewhat contradictory communications, but it turned out that a final agreement was reached on it.
Date of debate postponed
PiS Vice-President Mateusz Kurzejewski tweeted that the debate would start on Friday at 20:00 and it would take 90 minutes. Candidates will ask each another questions, and the host will be Jacek Prusinowski, writer “Super Express”.
Kurzejewski besides stated that PiS's demands to extend the debate to include another tv stations and portals were not accepted. “This is simply a deficiency of respect for spectators and voters,” he stressed with social media Deputy PiS.
