New Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Land Forces

The fresh commander-in-chief of the Russian Land Army was to be Colonel-General Andrei Nikolaevich Mordewiczov. To date, he has been formally commander of the Central Military territory and commander of the Military Group (Sil) ‘Centre’. Practically all his activities focused on the war in Ukraine. On the another hand, temporarily acting commander of the Central Military territory is presently General-Lejtnant Dmitry Głushenkov.
