During an AUSA 2026 exhibition in Washington, D.C., BAE Systems presented an autonomous variant of the AMPV (Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle) armored transporter. The fresh version is scheduled to be tested as early as February 2027. The task involves the integration of advanced autonomous steering systems with a platform designed for US Army mechanized troops.
