During a protest in Gdańsk, organised in Solidarity Square at the monument of the Victims of December ’70, associate of the Civic Coalition (KO), Franciszek Sterczewski, powerfully criticized the current government. His words caused a stir among the participants. Sterczewski did not cover his disappointment with the migration policy pursued by the coalition, which, he noted, continues the controversial actions of the erstwhile PiS government.

Border protection priority
In consequence to the increasing migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, Prime Minister Donald Tusk decided to reconstruct the buffer region on the east border. Tusk stressed that his government did not intend to agree to the uncontrolled influx of illegal migrants into Poland. He besides pointed out that border protection is simply a state work and that any available means would be utilized to guarantee security.
The Prime Minister said directly:
