Polish soldiers will shortly have the 3rd generation of warmate rounds. Its producer, the WB Group, signed on Thursday with the Armed Forces Agency the first implementation contract for the framework agreement concluded in May this year, under which it will supply 36 sets of these unmanned workers. – Before the holidays Warmate 3 will be in the army – announced Piotr Wojciechowski, president of the WB Group.
In May 2025, the Armed Forces Agency signed with WB Electronics, leader of the WB Group, a ten-year (2025-2035) framework agreement on delivery to the army about 10,000 rounds of warmate circulating ammunition. As Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz explained at the time, the Polish army decided to get kamikaze drones from the national holding in a expression that would supply them with the latest solutions. – Executive contracts will be signed periodically to buy the latest version as frequently as possible – explained the head of the Defence Ministry.
Today, the Armed Forces Agency concluded the first of the executive contracts announced by the Deputy Prime Minister. The agreement provides that the WB Group will supply 360 Warmate 3, or 36 sets consisting of command stations and 10 flying cameras. As declared by WB Group representatives, the first deliveries of Warmate 3 to the army will happen immediately. – They will be in the Polish Army before Christmas. We produce them serially, so there will be no problem to deliver them by the end of next week – declared Piotr Wojciechowski, president of the holding. All another ordered drones will be transferred by the end of the year.
The 3rd generation of Polish kamikaze drones, compared to erstwhile versions, has a larger range, more resistant navigation systems, which let to operate in an environment without GPS signal, as well as new, more effective warheads.
The day before signing the first executive agreement on kamikaze drones, the WB Group announced that another entity – the Warsaw company Tantalit – had joined its group. As representatives of the Group emphasize, the holding company from Ożarow Mazowiecki has already had the chance to cooperate with a company specialising in advanced IT and telecommunications systems. – We have gained a competent and committed company with large achievements and large improvement potential. They gained our assurance in the timely implementation of even very complicated tasks," commented Adam Bartosziewicz, vice president of the WB Group.
