On 8 August 2025, president Karol Nawrocki signed a bill to amend the individual Income taxation Act and any another laws to introduce a benefit called 1000 plus. A fresh form of PIT income taxation exemption for families raising at least 2 children. Adult subjects are besides to qualify if certain conditions are met. What limitations are we talking about? 1,000 plus - for who? Families are to gain "average PLN 1,000 per month"
It is estimated that the average Polish household can stay on average PLN 1,000 per month
- informed the President's Office on August 8, 2025, as quoted by Infor portal. The bill, numbered RPW/27021/2025 has already been submitted to the Sejm. The solution predicts that the alleged zero PIT will include families, with at least 2 children - both minors (up to 18 years old) and adults who are inactive learning (up to 25 years old) or receive a social benefit or nursing allowance. However, household income is simply a key condition. This cannot exceed the limit of PLN 140 1000 per year for a spouse, or PLN 280 1000 per family. The fresh benefit will besides be paid to foster families and legal guardians if children live with or depend on them. The following will be excluded from the relief:
families whose children have been placed in care facilities;
children who are married;
taxpayers covered by the solidarity taxation and entrepreneurs benefiting from the liner tax,
persons who in a given taxation year are obliged to pay the alleged solidarity tax, i.e. persons with the highest income exceeding PLN 1 million per year.
Zero PIT for families. Save at least 150 PLN per month
The Act will make the amount that reduces income taxation to PLN 16.8 thousand, and the amount free of taxation will scope PLN 140 1000 - alternatively of the present PLN 120 thousand. According to Lega Artis, it was estimated that the fresh benefit could scope over 1.5 million families in Poland. The Ministry of Finance, on the another hand, claims that specified a solution costs up to PLN 30 billion per year for the state budget. However, according to analysts, Grant Thornton's final financial benefits will depend on the income level of the family. People with minimum wage will save about 150 PLN per month. In the case of families with average wage savings can scope as much as 1 1000 zlotys. The higher the income, the greater the benefit. People with earnings of the order of PLN 15 1000 will gain up to PLN 1.4 1000 per month.

The bill was addressed to public consultation, and comments can be made by September 11, 2025. If everything goes as planned, the relief will apply in 2026.
