These actions are the consequence of Russian field conquests, especially in the Pokrów direction. This is where the Ukrainian troops are now in the most hard position. Further attacks by Russians on the flanks and the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops pose a threat to the agglomeration's lap and the necessity to abandon it. So far, it was expected to be 1 of the main defensive lines of Ukraine in Donbasa.
