Russia threatened to hit British military facilities on Monday and announced plans to conduct exercises simulating the usage of tactical atomic weapons on the battlefield. This message was issued in the context of expanding tensions due to comments by high-ranking Western officials on a possible deeper commitment to the war in Ukraine.
Moscow, following the call of the British Ambassador to the Ministry of abroad Affairs, warned that Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory with the usage of arms provided by Britain could origin retaliation against British military facilities and equipment in the territory Ukraine or elsewhere.
