Donald Tusk, leader of the Civic Coalition, appealed to his constituents via social media to actively participate in upcoming political events. A Reminder of past and Values
4 June is peculiarly crucial for Poles. In 1989, on that day, Poland made a historical choice of freedom, moving from communism to democracy. A year ago, 4 June 2023, the Civic Platform organised a large protest in Warsaw, aimed at the ruling United Right. This event was an expression of opposition to expensive, stealing and lying, as well as support for free elections and democratic, European Poland.

The elections to the European Parliament will take place on Sunday, 9 June. Election venues will be open from 07:00 to 21:00. The election silence will begin at midnight from June 7 to June 8 and will proceed until the vote is over. The Poles will elect 53 MEPs to represent the country in the European Parliament. In Poland, mandates will be distributed between 13 constituencies, in accordance with European and national regulations.
