On Wednesday, August 28, close Gdańsk Main Station, crucial changes in traffic organisation will be introduced. These changes relate to the ongoing construction of the pedestrian ground crossing and the upgrading of infrastructure at Podwale Grodzkie Street.
From the morning hours, the left, utmost lane at the tram platform is planned to close towards Hucław. At the same time, drivers will be able to usage the buspas, which will be made available as a right, utmost lane of the roadway. As a result, people moving towards Pruszcz Gdańsk will have 2 lanes at their disposal.
Building a passageway. Work towards Wrzeszcz
At the same time, work will proceed on the road leading towards Wrzeszcz. Due to the partial elimination of buspas, delays in bus moving are possible, especially in the morning and afternoon rush hours.

Changes in public transport
The changes will besides affect public transport passengers. Bus stops located in front of the building of Gdańsk Central Station will be temporarily transferred to the KFC restaurant. The fresh location of the stops includes coves 06 and 08, where buses will halt until the second half of September.
- Cove 08 (at KFC) will be valid for lines 106, 111, 112, 123, 131, 132, 138, 154, 166, 178, 186, 189, 200, 205, 207, 212, 232, 256, 289, 606, N1, N4, N5, N8, N9, N14, N56, N78.
- Bay 06 (ex-TAXI) will be valid for lines 100, 108, 130, 167, 184, 199, 208, 210, 267, N3, N6, N16.
Tram stops will stay unchanged and bus timetables will not be modified. However, passengers must prepare for possible delays due to fresh traffic difficulties.
Contractor and expected duration of amendments
Flize Gres is liable for the construction of the ground crossing. The planned traffic organisation is to be in force until at least the second half of September, depending on the advancement of the work.
