By order of Thursday, June 20, the president of Gdynia Aleksandra Kosiorek yet established the number of Gdynia vice presidents for three. At the same time, it repealed the order of the president of the City of Gdynia of 30 November 2006 to find the number of city's alternates. That means there will be no 4th Vice president of Gdynia. It's not the only change in the matter.
Three, not 4 vice presidents – this is the consequence of the order of the president of Gdynia Aleksandra Kosiorek. More than a period and a half after taking the most crucial office in the city, the fresh president made a decision on the number of her deputies and their responsibilities.
New organisational structure
President Kosiorek besides introduced fresh organisational regulations of the Gdynia City Hall (UMG), which besides entered into force on Thursday, 20 June. The Vice president of Octavia Gorzeńska, first, took her position, and under her supervision were the following organizational cells of the office:
- Department of Education,
- Office for Quality of Life,
- Department of Culture,
- Office of the City Monument Conservationist.
Another vice president was Bartłomiej Austen. He is subject to:
- Investment Department,
- District Office,
- City Gardener's Department,
- City Plastics Office,
- Department of improvement Projects,
- Department of Infrastructure Projects,
- Strategic Division,
- Department of economical Policy.
A fewer days ago, Tomasz Augustyniak took the position of the 3rd vice president. He is subject to:
- Department of Social Affairs,
- Department of Accessibility,
- Office for NGOs.
Openness to dialog with the civilian Coalition
Despite the order, president Kosiorek stresses that the question of taking the position of 4th Vice president of Gdynia for the candidate proposed by the civilian Coalition is inactive open.
I am not closing the way for an agreement, my offer is inactive on the table – she noted.
Change function naming
At the same time, the president of Gdynia, Aleksandra Kosiorek, resigns from the erstwhile naming of the functions of his deputies. For current vice presidents, Gdynia will no longer be utilized erstwhile names specified as vice presidents on quality of life, development, economy or innovation. This change aims to simplify the structure and better adapt to the current needs of the city.
