Deputy Minister of Justice Bartłomiej Ciażyński was in the heat of criticism after it was revealed on the wp.pl portal that part of his family's journey to Slovenia was financed by public funds. Ciązyński, the politician of the Left and the erstwhile vice president of Wrocław, initially denied allegations, but after a fewer hours confirmed irregularities and apologized.

The scandal broke out erstwhile journalists Patryk Słowik and Paweł Figurski revealed that Ciążyński had embarked on a business vacation in a limousine, even though he was no longer in office at the institution that made the vehicle and fuel card available to him.

He refueled the car twice, paying with a business card, which is strictly prohibited by the regulations he signed himself. From Wrocław, the Deputy Minister left for Slovenia, where he spent time with his family, publishing photos on social media.
