During the duration of the election silence, the police in Poland registered many violations of law. According to the information provided by Mr. Katarzyna Nowak, the press spokesperson of the Police office for the Polish Press Agency, 7 crimes and 205 offences were reported by 6 on Sunday.
The reported crimes included electoral agitation, theft, and 3 cases of property destruction. peculiar attention is paid to the crime related to the promotion of totalitarian system, consisting in placing swastikas on election banners in Oświęcim.
This is simply a violation of Article 256 of the Criminal Code, which prohibits the promotion of totalitarian systems. Another reported offence afraid Article 513c of the Electoral Code, which referred to the obstruction of monitoring or documenting electoral procedures.
With respect to offences, police registered 205 cases, of which 87 resulted from violations of the Code of Offences and 118 from the Electoral Code. This shows how extended illegal activities were during this crucial electoral period.

Police stopped 2 people during the silence of the election
