The neo-lytic revolution was based on exceeding the key threshold of specialisation and division of labour, which led to new, more intensive forms of management (agriculture, animal husbandry, metallurgy, etc.) and clearly translated into increased productivity of the societies concerned.
The industrial revolution was based on exceeding the key threshold of capital accumulation, which allowed the effective commercialisation of a full scope of inventions (mechanical spinning machine, steam machine, iron railway, etc.) for mass production of essential goods (textiles, agricultural tools, building materials, etc.).
The information revolution brought the anticipation of instant transmission of messages and the widespread usage of accumulated human cognition resources, which translated into a clear improvement in logistics, distribution, administration and education processes.
Meanwhile, the alleged AI revolution has already brought a number of clearly visible costs (rapid extortion of the price of computer memory and data media, progressive degradation of the quality of information available on the network, measurable cognition of human cognitive abilities, especially among the youngest ones), while the anticipation of its market-rich commercialization, which translates into an increase in the quality of life of the average man, remains in the sphere of empty wishes and propaganda slogans.
So while all erstwhile technological and economical revolutions have been organic phenomena increasing out of the will to make qualitatively improving tools for the activity of the human mind, the alleged AI revolution seems to be so far a bubble of all time bloated by the constant flooding of financial markets with empty money and the participation of institutionally rotten regimes in the self-propelled spy-inspective arms race.
This, in turn, suggests that the fruitage of this revolution should be utilized in a peculiarly cautious way and to stay highly delicate to situations in which they appear clearly indigestible. Otherwise, the usage of a common-sense profit and failure analysis will be replaced by a participation in an extraordinary (omen nomen) artificially spun sheep's shoot leading blindly to the abyss. This, in turn, is the last behaviour that the holder of natural intelligence can afford to honestly examine the benefits and risks of utilizing its digital prostheses.
