Norwegian artillery increases precision

The acquisition of these sets was carried out under the FMS (Foreign Military Sales) procedure and was informed of it on 19 February. The exact number of M1156A1 modules purchased has not been specified. Their acquisition is carried out in close cooperation with the US authorities, the Norwegian Armed Forces, the Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and the Norwegian Defence investigation Department. This will let for the successive implementation of these correction modules to the Norwegian Army, importantly improving its effectiveness in the field of indirect fire conduct with cannonhaubic K9 Vidar.
