Norway increases military support for Ukraine

"This is simply a crucial contribution to Ukrainian and European safety in a time of large global instability. The funds will be utilized to strengthen Ukraine's ability to defy force from Russia and improve Ukraine's negotiating position. They will besides support a possible peace plan, which is presently being developed in cooperation with another European countries," said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, quoted on the Norwegian government website.
