The typical Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces with its central office in Radom was established by a decision of the Minister of National Defence of 4 December 2023. The commander is Colonel Łukasz Baranowski. The unit consists of: Representation Orchestra, Representation Company and Command and Staff.
January is summary time. The first year of operation of the Representation Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces (OR WOT) showed how dynamically the individual is developing and what influence it has on the promotion of the Radom region at home and abroad.
Key tasks in the past year included securing state and military ceremonies in accordance with the ceremony of the Armed Forces of Poland, as well as securing projects promoting the Territorial Defence Army. "The establishment of the Representation Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces in Radom is simply a breakthrough in the improvement of our formation. Thanks to the operation of the orchestra and companies, we celebrate key state and military ceremonies. The dynamic improvement of the individual is simply a evidence to the dedication, professionalism and passion of its soldiers. I believe that the Centre will proceed to be a origin of pride for WOT, building bridges of cooperation and strengthening links between the army and society" - emphasised Brig. Gen. Dr. Krzysztof Stańczyk, Commander of the Territorial Defence Army.
Hours spent in orchestra rehearsals or drill trainings in the company's case, percent with awesome performances with the highest standards. "The Activities of the Representation Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces in Radom is an crucial component in building the affirmative image of our city. Currently, the Centre counts nearly 190 soldiers, which makes up almost 80% of the unit's completion. This is an awesome and highly hard consequence to accomplish in specified a short time. The most memorable event was a Christmas performance in Wroclaw for the services participating in Operation Feniks and a thrilling performance in the Śląski Site for residents of the region affected by the flood.
The beginning of the year 2024 is primarily the inauguration of the Centre of Representatives in cooperation with the National People's Song and Dance squad "Mazowsze", media promotion of the unit and the period of creation of the Centre's structures. The soldiers besides took part in the celebration of the National Day of Memory of the Cursed Soldiers. However, the most crucial part of this period was the participation in the ceremony of awarding the flag by the Armed Forces Commander of the president of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda of the Commandery of the Territorial Defence Army. In addition, the soldiers of the unit secured military oaths in each voivodship, which emphasizes the intent and effectiveness of the Centre's activities and gives an elevated character and uniqueness of that day to the incarnates themselves, their families and local communities.
In June, the OR WOT delegation hosted the Presidential Palace on the occasion of Children's Day at the invitation of the Presidential Couple. During this period there was besides a picnic in the gardens of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, who was inaugurated by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, where musicians from the Orchestra presented their musical skills.
The vacation period is the time of the Company's group and debut during the central celebrations of the Polish Army in Warsaw. It is besides a performance of the Orchestra and a parade drill show performed by the Representation Company during the solemn performance "Army Orchestras in Radom for residents of their city". Jan Majewski and the star of Polish phase Ida Nowakowska performed with musicians in uniform. Due to the wide scope of activities and the advanced frequency of performances, the soldiers besides made a "high flight" journey to Szczecin with military Hercules to safe a solemn oath.
In September, OR WOT soldiers, according to the motto “Always Ready, Always Close”, helped those affected by the flood as part of Operation FENIKS. In the first phase, they carried out measures to prevent flooding or evacuation of endangered population, successively supporting the purification and reconstruction of flood sites in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. These activities have a tangible effect on the perception of the Centre in the context not only of the representation functions of the Territorial Defence Forces but besides of providing assistance to local communities.
The last 4th did not give a minute on the "breath". More concerts and celebrations, recruitment activities, presence at the global Defence manufacture Salon in Kielce or cooperation with the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. A large discrimination was the title and statue of the “ Region Leader” in the category safety – VISIT OF THE Radom REGION, which was personally received by the commander Colonel Łukasz Baranowski. "It was a year full of challenges and successes. Our actions have produced tangible results both at home and abroad. We plan to proceed our mission while developing global cooperation and expanding engagement in local initiatives." – concludes Colonel Baranowski.
November is, of course, a group and defilement in Warsaw on the occasion of independency Day and a gathering with the First woman in Belvedere. This month, the first always unit was appointed to the rank of corporal of six soldiers to complete the "Sonda" sub-office course.
In December there was a very important, in the context of global cooperation, a working visit to the US to representatives of the National defender of Illinois and a gathering with the Consul of the Republic of Poland, which is simply a milestone in building a common Polish-American cooperation and a representative.
As of 2025, Lieutenant Mateusz Bryła, Commander of the Representation Company, estimates: "I believe that he will be as intense in terms of ceremonial and perimilitary training. We besides have plans to safe military celebrations, central celebrations and holidays. We are besides gradually expanding the condition of the company's employees."
Soldiers from the WOT Representation Centre with full work guarantee that in 2025 they will not slow down and proceed to make and improve their skills to best represent the region, country and, of course, the Territorial Defence Army.
