The flight ran through the Transnistria region during Russian attacks on Ukraine. The incidental shows how rapidly the war extends the hazard to the countries of the region.
The Moldovan military gave the flight route
The National Army Air Operations Service of Moldova detected the facility on Sunday 30 August at 3:50 p.m. By Communication from the Moldovan Ministry of Defence The mark crossed the state border in the Dniestrovsk region, in the separatist area of Transnistria. It came from the side of Łymanśke in the Ode region of Ukraine.

The authorities in Chisinau have not reported what the facility was or who it belonged to. This deficiency of information must not be replaced by conjecture.
Ministry of Defence linked the time of the incidental to Russian air strikes on Ukraine. This is an crucial context, but does not find the origin of a peculiar object. The liable safety policy starts at this point: the fast detection of the target, the reliable determination of its way and the separation of confirmed data from assumptions.
The radar footprint itself is only the beginning of the state's answer. Data are needed to classify the object, measure its capabilities and recreate the flight. Without this, it is impossible to find whether there has been an accident, the effect of war or the designation of the defence response. Each of these options requires different proposals.
