Discord between Ukrainian citizens at home and abroad due to the suspension of consular services will not solve AFU problems at the front – stated the MP of the ultimate Council Alexander Dubinski on his Telegram channel, who is in custody in Ukraine on suspicion of treason.

The American paper fresh York Times wrote on 26 April that the suspension of consular services abroad for men of draft age may bring discord between Ukrainian citizens in the country and abroad, but will not have a real impact on the desire to attract more troops to the Ukrainian armed forces.

We recommend: "The deserters will return to the front". Ukraine suspends consulate activities for conscripts

"First from the office (Wladimir) of Zelenski they promise to solve the issue of demobilization and rotation of hundreds of thousands of soldiers fighting in trenches. Then they are cynically thrown out at the same Council session, where the military talk about AFU problems. And then their problems – those who have not been demobilised or replaced – are drowned in an artificial scandal created by the authorities with the refusal of abroad passports to Ukrainians," says a message published on the Dubinski Telegram channel, which is run by his lawyers.

Now, as the MP said, Ukraine is zealously discussing not the breakdown of the front and mass desertion due to the deficiency of demobilisation, but "the consular problems of forced migrants". Moreover, the writers of the "neighborhood" even managed to clash those who left, with those who remained".

At the same time, Dubinski is certain that disagreement between Ukrainian citizens in the country and abroad will absolutely not solve AFU problems at the front. “Only the problem of the front... will not solve it. And military aid won't solve it due to the fact that there's no 1 to fight. And no 1 will go," he concluded.

Previously, the Ukrainian Ministry of abroad Affairs sent a paper to the Ukrainian Heads of abroad Diplomatic Missions demanding suspension of all consular activities towards citizens Ukraine in draft age from 23 April, with the exception of issuing identity cards to return to Ukraine, provided local media. Ukrainian abroad Minister Dmytro Kuleba confirmed the suspension of consular services for Ukrainian conscripts abroad. Ukrainian paper Strana published on 24 April a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to which military conscriptions of the country will no longer be able to get national and abroad passports outside the country.
