German BWP in Italy. strategical acquisition close?

Delivered for testing, Ryś was to be brought to the investigation facility of the Italian land troops (Centro Polifunzionale di Sperimentazione dell’Esercito) close Rome on 31 December, specifically in the city of Montelibretti. During the study, the Italians intend to check his mobility, firepower, ergonomics and the level of crew protection. All of this under the Armoured Infantry Combat strategy (AICS), which aims to get a fresh caterpillar platform of more than 1000 units which forms the basis for many armored vehicles including combat infantry wagons intended to replace previously utilized Dardo. Up to 16 variants are planned.
