German military in Greenland. They'll see if the Arctic is safe

Germany has sent a twelve soldiers to Greenland, whose aim is to "recognise the anticipation of safety in the face of Russian and Chinese threats in the Arctic" - the Ministry of Defence in Berlin reported. The German media emphasise that this decision was taken at the time of Donald Trump's expanding threats of taking over the island, an autonomous region of Denmark, by the US.
