Germany implements a plan of large arms. defence Minister Boris Pistorius presented the first military strategy of the Bundeswehr. It assumes the improvement and increase of army numbers to at least 460 000 soldiers and responds to Russia's expanding threat of attack on NATO states. If they manage to accomplish specified ambitious plans, in a fewer years' time, the "strongest army in Europe" will grow beyond our western border.
