Germany: Socialists and the far right block aid to Ukraine

The German Parliament voted yesterday on the proposal for a migration policy, proposed by CDU candidate for Chancellor Friedrich Merz. It passed [most 348 votes to 344 with 10 abstentions](), CDU/CSU votes (187), liberal FDP (80) and utmost right-wing alternate to Germany (75), with opposition from social democrats from the SPD, left-wing Die Linke and the Greens.
