Russia is liable for the August incidental with a drone with explosives at Leipzig Airport," stated German MMA chief Alexander Dobrindt on Tuesday. MFA chief Johann Wadephul reported that as part of the response, the government would close Russia's consulate in Bonn and the cultural centre of the Russian home in Berlin.
– For a long time, our safety services have been observing hybrid actions in Germany and the European neighbourhood. These actions are directed against critical infrastructure, arms companies and supporting Ukraine. The findings of our services and services in partner countries clearly indicate Russian participation in planned, conducted and thwarted actions," said Dobrindt at a joint press conference with Wadeful in Berlin
The head of the MFA stated that the Russian consulate in Bonn, as well as the Russian House, a centre promoting Russian culture, based in the centre of Berlin, would close as part of the response.
Wadephul assured that Germany would proceed to support Ukraine's conflict with Russian aggression.
