Germany wants to increase military aid to Ukraine

Since the beginning of the year, the German government has allocated EUR 7.1 billion to military aid to Ukraine.
However, this sum was almost entirely planned, and only EUR 300 million remained to buy fresh ammunition and weapons citing government circles. The budget overrun is due to be submitted to Parliament for approval in June.
