Some routes of the Mazury Bike Loop will be rebuilt

Among the cycling routes to be improved are sections from Karwica to Ruciany-Nida in the municipality of Pisz, a fragment from Jora Wielka in the municipality of Mikołajki to Notistu close Ryn, or from Sztynort to Kamionka Wielki.

Cycle paths along the shores of the Węgorzew Canal, Młyński and Węgorapa River, and along Wodo Stringowa Street from the town beach in Kalu to the turn on the Węgorzewo View Tower, will besides be rebuilt.

Works on all 8 episodes are due to be completed by December 2027.

The Mazury Bike Loop (MPR) has existed since 2023. It is simply a network of almost 310 km of bicycle roads with different surfaces – gravel routes, separated asphalt, urban and sandy. On the full way there are designated places for cyclists, equipped with leisure infrastructure: winds, bicycle racks, toilets and power access. On the MPR way there were besides lookout towers.
