The head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz referred to the fall of the facility, which crashed from Tuesday to Wednesday in Osina, Lublin Voivodeship.

Around 2:00 a.m. local officers received a study of an unidentified detonation in the field, resulting in windows falling out in close homes. The police who went to the scene found the burnt remains.

Initially, the Operations Command of Types of Armed Forces stated that according to preliminary assessments, the facility was components of an old engine, and no violations of Polish airspace were recorded at night.

This information was not confirmed by the head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. The Deputy Prime Minister reported that the object was most likely a drone – military or smuggling: “It does not carry, for the time being, any of the information I received, the marks that would prove immediately of a military nature, so it should not be excluded that we may be dealing with a smuggling drone. And it is not essential to exclude something that besides happened in another countries – acts of sabotage, or activities related to diversion, with sabotage in the territory of the Republic of Poland" – the head of MON quoted by PAP.
