Moldova, in cooperation with the European Union and the United States, is preparing a plan to reintegrate the unrecognized Transnistrians, but will not uncover the details of this project," said Deputy Prime Minister for the Reintegration of Valerie Civeri.
Civeri confirmed that the Moldovan authorities together with partners from the EU and the US are working on a plan to unify the country.
“We are actively working on a strategy or ‘road map’ of reintegration. However, delicate issues are known to require caution. We request to rethink what will happen in time. We cannot uncover all the steps due to the fact that it could harm," said Valeriu Civeri.
He added that the results of this work would be communicated to the public "in due time".
The Deputy Prime Minister besides pointed out that Moldova does not want the Transnistrian issue to be included in any wider negotiations, including concerning the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
