Return action in the fresh presidential poll. Bad news for Mentzen

The survey Opinion24 carried out a fresh presidential poll for RMF FM, whose results could mean a breakthrough. So far, Sławomir Mentzen enjoyed considerable support and took 3rd place, competing with Karol Nawrocki for a second position. However, the latest survey indicates a decline. If elections were held today, Rafał Trzaskowski and the PiS candidate would enter the second round.


The respondents were asked who they were going to vote for in the 2025 presidential election. Rafał Trzaskowski is the biggest support, for which 31.5 percent of respondents would vote. This means a tiny decrease compared to the survey last month, where it achieved 32 percent.

Karol Nawrocki in the latest poll won 20% of support, an increase of 0.5 percent points compared to March. Until late his position as second candidate was threatened by Sławomir Mentzen.

The biggest change concerns the Confederate candidate, who noted a decline in support. In March he could number on almost 19 percent of the votes, which gave him a real chance to enter the second round. presently his support among respondents is 14.7 percent.

The 4th place was placed by Szymon Hołownia with a consequence of 5.8 percent and behind it was Grzegorz Braun, who received 3.5 percent support.

The following places were taken: Adrian Zandberg (2.7%), Krzysztof Stanowski (2.4%), Magdalena Biejat (1.5%), Marek Jakubiak (1.0%), Artur Bartoszewicz (0.7%), Joanna Senyszyn (0.4%) and Maciej Maciak (0.2%). However, 14.5 percent of respondents do not know who to vote for.

Mentzen loses support among young people


Sławomir Mentzen has so far enjoyed large support among young voters. In March, in the 18-29 age group, he gained 46 percent of the vote. According to the latest survey, he gained 27 percent support, which represents a decrease of 19 percent points. The desire to vote for him is declared all 4th surveyed from this age bracket.

In the event of a duel by Rafał Trzaskowski with Karol Nawrocki, the majority of voters would point to the candidate KO, who would win 48.2% of the votes. This is simply a decrease in relation to the March poll in which Trzaskowski could number on 52.1 percent support. In turn, the PiS candidate would gain 39.8%, which means an increase of over 3.5 percent points. However, 12 percent of voters stay undecided.

If Sławomir Mentzen entered the second round, he would lose to Rafał Trzaskowski. According to the survey, the candidate KO would win 50.4% of the votes, and the leader of the Confederacy – 38.7%.

The survey was carried out by the investigation company Opana24 on 7-9 April on a typical example of 1,000 people. Computer assisted telephone interviews (CATI) were used. The example reflected the socio-demographic characteristics of the Polish population at 18+.
