Pyrkon is simply a festival that constantly delights with the diversity and quality of invited guests. The Literary Zone, 1 of the most valued gathering places for book fans and written word, gains more fascinating participants. The invited artists and translators will include Olena Tereschenko, Ilaria Shevchenko, Bogusława Suchanska and Filip Taterka.
Who else will be in the Literary Zone?

Olena Tereschenko She is an Ukrainian author and historian who lives in Chernihov all day and works at the Central Municipal Library there. There he is liable for organizing literary events and projects for children and youth. As an author, she creates for both younger and adult readers – her specialty is warm stories from the “cosy fantasy” sign and historical and adventure literature. She is the recipient of prestigious awards, including the global Literary Competition “Koronacja łosowa” and the Literary Prize of Irpenja.
Ilaria Shevchenko, besides from Ukraine, is simply a translator of literature specializing in translation of bestsellers from Spanish and English. He cooperates with the largest Ukrainian publishing houses and has translations of specified novels as Librarian from Auschwitz Antonia Iturbe, Heart shape Dolores Redondo or Berta Isla Javier Marías. In 2024 for his translation Librarians from Auschwitz She was honored with the global honour of Szolema Aleichem.


From Poland he joins the literary group Pyrkon Bogusława Suchanska, an outstanding translator of Danish literature, known for both translations of contemporary prose and poetry, and for his love for the work of Hans Christian Andersen. Its translation of all 164 fairy tales and stories of the Danish master is simply a real event on the literary market. She is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including the literary award of the Association of Authors ZAiKS for the full translation work.
The rate closes Filip Taterka – Egyptologist, author, investigator of antiquity, who is passionate about the past of civilization over the Nile. Author, among others. Tales from the Nile: Egyptian Stories from the mediate State Period and the first Polish translation Letter to Lord Datras Champollion, with a unique sense of humor combines academic precision with love for fantasy. As he claims, he reads novels of the genre so as not to look ignorant on Pyrcon. In the spare moments... he arranges puzzles – the more elements, the better.
