The U.S. Army is presently investigating 2 prototypes of a fresh infantry fighting vehicle, developed as part of the MICV (Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle) program. Both proposed designs bear the military designation XM30 (after the selection of the mark plan and its standardization, it will change to M30). Both besides have their own names: Wolf (Wolf) from GDLS and Lynx (Lynx) from American Rheinmetall. They will receive the same main armament in the form of a fresh automatic cannon.
