Israel is not a organization that would prevent the ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for the release of hostages, but there will be no ceasefire without the release of hostages," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday.
"I have made it clear to the global community that there will be no ceasefire without returning the kidnapped. That's just not gonna happen. This is the policy of the Israeli government and I welcome the fact that the administration (Joe-ed.) According to the Prime Minister, the organization obstructing the agreement is the Palestinian Hamas movement, not Israel.
"Extreme demands (Hamas – ed.) aim to end the war and leave it (Hamas – ed.) intact, ensuring its survival, rehabilitation and ability to endanger our citizens and our soldiers. Obedience to Hamas' demands will let them to effort to repeat crimes specified as the attack of October 7th, again and again, as promised," Netanjahu stressed.
