This is simply a fragment of 1 of the most crucial texts concerning the III Polish Republic. Let’s halt for a minute on the passage “I don’t even request it (although I loved it) Poland is 20 years old, sovereign of absurdity, but inactive threatened by the mystery or distrust of its neighbours, a deficiency of European balance, and from the mediate by the dislike of the Ukrainian or German minority"
What are we watching today? The Second Republic of Poland with all its imperfections and defects. More overshadowed, slanting, hilarious. Charles Marx was right erstwhile he wrote “Hegel says somewhere that all the large historical facts and figures repeat, you can say, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as a tragedy, the second as a farce." We're watching the farce.
World War II was a powerful blow to our nation. But we stitched it as a winner. We had logical and safe boundaries. It's not like that today. Our madly prometian politics, shaking swords and rumbling at neighbours from the East and the West have made us request to put our safety in the overseas allies. She returned to religion in pacts and alliances as in the Second Polish Republic. We are again surrounded by the distrust of our neighbors. Does this not remind you of the sanitational Poland?
All these fantasymagories about sovereignty, independence, security, prosperity and our place in Europe are satirical calculus of operetta power from the period II of Poland. The activities of secret and influential associations were replaced by the activities of various foundations. It has come to this the discipline of insurrectional thinking, worship and sacralization of uprisings, loud and theatrical patriotism ...
The binder of II of the Polish Republic was the story of legion act, the binder of III of the Polish Republic is the Smolensk myth. He doesn't want to overcompensate with comparisons, but Piskorski spent any years in the 3rd Poland. Witos and Korfanty suffered a lot in the Second Poland.
